Setting goals is the common practice for so many people at the start of a new year. I am no exception and you probably aren’t either. But goals often fall to the wayside because of procrastination, lack of self-confidence, and sometimes even negativity. 2018 is the year to be different—set goals and stay focused!
Once you’ve determined your goals for this year, you need to be intentional about staying on track with them. This may mean communicating about these goals with key players in your organization—teamwork! Carve out time on your calendar for planning and strategizing. Set up reminders so that your smart gadgets alert about the next step in your master plan. The steps needed to accomplish your goals are as important as the goals themselves!
The Three Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce has many goals for 2018 and beyond.
- Create and deliver more value for our members (see our updated benefits!)
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy
- Improved use of technology
- Increase in press coverage
- More member engagement
- Steady involvement in community events
These are just some of our goals for 2018 and beyond. The steps to make these goals happen are in the works. Tell us what your goals are for 2018 and let us know how we can help you. Let’s make things happen!
